Areas of Interest
Our primary areas of interest involve the following conditions, although cases that fall outside of these areas may also be considered.
- Immune mediated inflammatory disease
- Microbiome modulated adaptive immunity
- Mild to moderate liver disease
- Chronic stress/anxiety
- Mild to moderate depression
- Atopic dermatitis
- Irritable bowel syndrome
Case Report Development
We follow the CARE case report guidelines and typically plan for publication in peer reviewed journals such as Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal which offers useful case report timeline guidance. Dependent upon the experience and availability of the participating clinician, biosyn can offer support with case protocol development and report writing.
Compensation
biosyn will provide the probiotics of interest at no cost and will compensate the contributing practitioner for time dedicated to case development patient visits and report writing. Total compensation will be determined on a case by case basis and agreed in writing prior to study initiation.
